House Cleaning

We all love being a part of the Bush, here in Hoedspruit. It is why we live here, but bugs and spiders are a fact of life here. It is important to have your home cleaned regularly to keep the dust and cobwebs from building up as well as reduce the amount of unwanted bugs and spiders from making your home theirs.
We offer scheduled daily, weekly or monthly house cleans as well as ad-hoc cleans on request. Whatever your requirements, we’ve got you covered. An added advantage of having your home cleaned regularly is that we are able to keep an eye on your home should anything untoward happen and you are not in residence. For example burst geysers, leaky water pipes or any other problem that may arise from a house left standing for long periods of time. We can then report these matters to you and organise for the problems to be fixed should you require it.
We try wherever possible to allocate a specific cleaner to your home so that they can learn your personal likes and dislikes as well as there being continuity and a sense of pride and responsibility for your home.
We offer opening cleans before your arrival so that you arrive at your bush home, put down your bags, grab a sundowner and begin your holiday immediately, without having to wade through swathes of cobwebs or chase out unwanted critters. We also offer closing cleans, so that you need not worry about the last of those dishes, or having to take dirty laundry home with you. You need not worry about remembering to switch off the geyser or worry about whether you left that outside light on. Again, we have you covered. We will clean your home, strip beds and do your laundry. Most of the homes we service are in the various wildlife estates in and around Hoedspruit and therefore our staff are experienced in the specifics of bush living.

Laundry

We offer a laundry service should you require it. Beds can be stripped and laundered and then remade just prior to your next arrival. We will collect and drop off the laundry if you are a client of ours.
We can also organise to have upholstery cleaning done as well as carpets and curtain cleaning on site.

Garden Service

Our garden service can be done on request or on a scheduled basis. We service gardens in the many wildlife estates in and around Hoedspruit. Our gardeners are trained to deal with both bush gardens and suburban gardens. Typically their duties will include the following but can be tailor made to your specific requirements.
• Raking up leaves in driveway, pathways and around house.
• Dig around flower beds and planted trees
• Trim branches touching roof
• Remove unwanted alien plants as required
• Weeding
• Neatening of stone crush edging
• Sweep decks and walkways
• Hose and scrub down decks and or walkways if applicable
• Remove ash from fire pit and dispose of safely
• Wash grid/grill

Pool Service

This is monthly service were your pool is checked and cleaned twice a week. You have a choice of supplying your own chemicals or we can supply them for you at an extra cost. The pool service includes the following:

• Remove cover if pool has one and drain off accumulated rain water on top.
• Check water level of pool and top up if necessary. This is important to prevent damage to pump from running dry.
• Check chlorine, PH and water stability. Add chemicals if required.
• Vacuum debris from bottom of pool and net out surface leaves.
• Empty out leaves from weir and pool filter basket.
• Backwash and rinse.
• Ensure creepy-crawly is working properly. If you have one.
• Put cover back on and secure.
• General check to see if pump, piping and filter are operating correctly.
• Check and adjust timer where necessary
• Report any faults or problems to client if found.

Domestic Service
In addition to deep cleans were we supervise our staff on the job we also offer Domestic service were clients live in their property and don’t need management to supervise our staff and prefer to do that themselves. We then supply one of our well trained staff to clean the owner’s house under the owner’s supervision and using their own cleaning products. This is the most affordable cleaning option.

General Maintenance
We offer general maintenance service should you need small jobs done around the house. Work that we regularly do for our clients are, for example, pool pump replacement, sand and varnish decks and wood frames as well as general maintenance work around the home. Should you require larger jobs done than we can handle or that requires a qualified tradesman like an electrician, we will organise quotes for you and open up your home for the work to be done upon your request.
